She plays a pretty significant role in season 11, essentially taking over Michonne’s storyline from the comics. Yumiko was introduced in the episode after Rick Grimes departed, alongside Magna, Luke, Connie, and Kelly.
Take Eleanor Matsuura (Yumiko), who cannot believe that her journey with the series is already coming to a close. It’s been going on so long that even actors introduced in season 9 have been involved for four years at this point.
